Nadal said that his knee injury is quite serious and he would not be able to play according to his potential due to the injury. As per Nadal, it is very important for a tennis player to move smoothly, but, his injured knee hinders his movements and thus affects his performance. According to Nadal, it would have been a privilege to represent Spain in the Olympics. He is enormously disappointed to have missed this opportunity.
