One of the greatest tennis players of all times, Rafael Nadal, has said that he is not going to participate in the upcoming London Olympic Games. Nadal said that his knee injury is quite serious and he would not be able to play according to his potential due to the injury. As per Nadal, it is very important for a tennis player to move smoothly, but, his injured knee hinders his movements and thus affects his performance. According to Nadal, it would have been a privilege to represent Spain in the Olympics. He is enormously disappointed to have missed this opportunity.

Nadal won the gold medal in the Beijing Olympics in 2008. After winning the gold medal in the Beijing Olympics, There has been a lot of improvement in Nadal’s game. Earlier, Nadal was considered as clay court specialist. People used to say that he couldn’t play well on the grass courts. But, Nadal worked very hard to add versatility to his game.
